It was tense in the room, Yoroichi could tell. She hated it when it was tense. On that not, she hated almost every mood except for tired. No one was tired, so she was annoyed. Seeing as she never slept due to all that bloody caffine in her system, she liked it when people were tired. And when they fell asleep, she and Near and L could just chatter on about the case. If one of them got a brilliant idea, the other two would wake Matt, Mello, and Beyond. No A. He was in Japan, taking care of the Kira Task Force L assembled. They would be moving there soon because they -Yoroichi and Matt specificially- wanted to keep the rest of the Whammy's Kids out of the Kira Case Files. Yoroichi didn't want them involved at all. She wanted them out and safe.
She sighed and glanced lazily at Matt. It was a right pain in the arse to let Matt, Mello, and Near on the Kira Case. They were all younger than her. L was about 29, Beyond was 24, and A was 21, all over her age of 20. Matt was 17, Mello was 18, and Near was 16. It was a right pain to let them. However, she didn't have a choice. It was all up to L and he said he wanted the best of the Whammy's Kids which would be them. Matt, Mello, Near, Beyond, A, and Yoroichi. She stood and cracked her back.
"Anything new, kiddos?" she asked.

Kibeki was starting to get bored, but Ryuga would be waiting to take over the second he showed any weakness." When are we leaving for Japan?" Kibeki asked Yoroichi, hoping he would be back in his home country soon. Why not let me take over, I'll be nice to everyone. Ryuga whispered in Kibeki's mind, he was starting to do this more and more when he heard about Kira and he was desperate to catch this person; so that Ryuga would stop trying to take over. " Wake me up, when you need my help." Kibeki said before heading to his room. Don't be so mean to me Ryuga mentioned before Kibeki took his mask off and went to sleep.

The purple haired girl smiled affectionately as one of the boys spoke. Tilting her head to the side, she muttered to herself,
"I am surrounded by men..." Absently, she glanced at Near before looking back at Crimson, tilting her head to the other side.
"Kiddo, we aren't going to Japan for a long while. Not until A reports to us that the Task Force HQ is complete..." She watched him leave and found herself looking at Near once more before catching herself. She checked to make sure no one caught her staring and sighed, clenching her hands into fists before unclenching them.

Kibeki couldn't sleep, he was waiting to go back to Japan, to go and visit the graves of his family. He had not been there since L had found him burned and scarred from the fire Ryuga had gotten him out of." What am I going to do, my mask makes me unable to walk in public much, maybe I could be infiltration to get information for L, probably not though." Kibeki said to himself going back down to the meeting, sitting in his usual spot, back away from the group. Kibeki started playing with his ring, when his mask fell off revealing a long scar, shaped like a claw mark; this was what he got from the fire, the fire he had set.

Yoroichi once again found herself watching Near. She knew why, but she wasn't ready to admit it. Jumping, she smiled affectionately at Kibeki, tilting her head to the side as his scar was revealed. Well. Hm. She shrugged, to each his own. And her eyes found the albino once more. Christ did she have it bad. She groaned.
"Someone get me a soda!" she barked.

After Kibeki put his mask back on he excused himself and went for a walk to his favorite site, the local cemetary." I will not let this scar ruin the case." He said to himself, stareing down at a random headstone reading the name.

With a growl, Yoroichi stood. She offered an affectionate smile toward Near and exited the room, running through the halls as soon as the door was shut. She had to get away. She had to get away! She stumbled outside, past a group of smoking genii and around the corner, dropping to her knees. She couldn't do this. She needed out. She needed out of that house... And for good. She couldn't handle it.
She stared at her hands as the tears dropped. She couldn't handle this crap. "I love you," she whispered, "I love you, Near... I love you!"

Kibeki was just returning when he accidentaly ran into Yoroichi, " what is wrong?" He asked with fear that there had been an attack or that L had died. Kibeki did not what to do so he just stood up and walked over to the wall, just standing there waiting for the purple haired girl to answer or until Ryuga started his crap, " I was wondering," he asked suddenly," If I could go help A in Tokyo, seeing as though I've got connections in Japan."

She continued to cry, ignoring the boy completely.
"I love you," she whispered, "Near, I love you Near..." She completely disregarded the fact that Near was not within hearing distance nor was she ever going to tell him she was in love with him. Sniffling, she looked up at Kibeki, tilting her head to the side.
She stood to full height and brushed away her tears. "It is doubtful that you can go to Japan. Frankly, I'm astounded L instructed you to be on the case. Unless he wanted the top ten and he failed to inform me of this fact. I'll contact him as soon as I am able to."

" Thank you, but the reason I'm going is because I want information on a group named Skye Corp." Kibeki said with little emotion, having already taken his mask off, his face showed what his voice didn't. " I was raised to fight, I was raised as a super soldier." Kibeki said his voice hard and cold, he had not told anyone but L these words. " Also, I won't tell Near what I heard you say." Kibeki teased as he walked off putting his mask back on. Your crueler than me Ryuga mentioned when Kibeki was away from the girl, " No I just happened to hear her confess what I could tell from the beginning." Kibeki told Ryuga, not caring that he was talking out loud to Ryuga.

Yoroichi fell to her knees. He wouldn't tell Near? Her eyes followed the younger boy until he was gone. Had he been teasing her?! She prayed he had, because the other option brought a scowl to her face. He wouldn't tell, she prayed fervantly. He wouldn't breath a word to anyone but L... L... He knew. He knew everything. He knew everything about her. From the reason why one eye was red and the other blue to how she really and truly felt about Near.
She covered her face and flushed at the thought of Near finding out she loved him. Maybe she would be nice and see if she couldn't get Kibeki sent to Japan. As long as he didn't tell. But maybe he should tell so she wouldn't have to. She stood and made sure she was impeccable, as usual, and made her way back into the Case Room.

Near watched the door apathetically, praying for both Yoroichi and Kibeki to come back unscathed. Some of the other Genii had been going somewhat stir crazy and he wanted neither of them harmed. Well, specifically Yoroichi, but if everyone knew he thought that, he would be in trouble.
"Kibeki?" he said when the older teen entered the room... Without Yoroichi. "Um. Where's Yoroichi at?"

" She is walking around Near." Kibeki told the younger teen. It was at this time that Ryuga took control,"She is, looking for you Near" Ryuga said coldly after taking control briefly. Now lets see what trouble has been stired Ryuga said when Kibeki took control again. Kibeki watched the younger teen to see if he noticed the change in his voice when he saw a helicopter outside of the window. A helicopter with the Skye Corps insignia." Why are they here?" Kibeki asked Near, his voice hard with cold anger.

Yoroichi stood and raise an arm to sheild her eyes. They were back again? What the hell did those damn Beyond Corps want? How annoying. L should've had the decency to tell her, but no. The bastard probably preferred keeping Yoroichi in the dark. With a patient sigh, she pushed the door open to the Case Room. Kibeki looked overly annoyed and she looked out the window which, coincidentally, Near sat by. She tilted her head to the side and held out an arm to keep Kibeki from the window.
"Chill, Kid," she said to Kibeki. "It's the Beyond Corps. They use Skye Helicoptors so as to get Skye Corps in trouble when they douche around." She rolled her eyes. "Beyond runs them. They originated from America, so take a breather, punk." She offered a shy smile toward Near and winked at Kibeki.

Near tilted his head to the side, watching Kibeki and Yoroichi solemnly. Beyond Corps? What the hell was that?
"Pardon?" he whispered. "What is the Beyond Corps, Yoroichi?" Ichi was so weird sometimes. Skye Corp, he knew, but Beyond Corps? What?
